Just wanted to say a massive thankyou for making me feel so welcome last week, as I was coming on my own I did feel a little nervous & apprehensive & didn''t quite know what to expect! A special mention to Vanessa, thanks for her patience & the many tips she gave for trying to help me keep my legs in the right place with my pesky knee problems, I don''t think it''ll ever stay in one place! I''m already trying to work out when I will be able to come again... I had a fabulous time, so thanks again to Lo, Vanessa, Jamie, Lou, Brogan and everyone I just said ''Hi'' to, you are all very friendly, helpful, patient and most welcoming, see you all soon

Wow! What an amazing break. I came with a friend and our 2 daughters aged 8 + 9 years. Accommodation comfy, clean, warm and welcoming. Stables, welcoming, friendly, caring and extremely well looked after and good natured horses, ponies and donkeys. Staff, friendly, caring, accommodating, approachable. Absolutely nothing I could complain about. To use my daughters phrase "the best holiday ever! " We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Fantastic!! Thankyou to everyone who made our stay so great, thanks to jamie, the breakfast was fab. Lo you're wonderful and made me feel so welcome. Shane your teaching skills are excellent the girls adored you, and that sence of humour is second to none!! And a special thankyou to becky for taking rosie on her own. The ponies were all so well behaved I soon calmed down and left the girls to it which is tough for a nervous mother. We will definatley be coming again and will be recomending you to friends. Lo you were right, Rosie slept all the way home.Love to all staff and ponies Sally, Rosie and Katie x x

Huge thanks to everyone at Dunton Stables. I loved every minute of my 4 day stay, and wish it could have been longer. The lessons were fabulous and I would definitely come in regularly if I lived (just a little) closer. I loved looking out the window onto the stable courtyard, and hearing the donkeys waking in the morning. The breakfast trays were beautiful Jaime. You have a flair for fruit sculpture! Most of my interactions with your fabulous staff was with Shane, who is so helpful, accommodating, and also great company on the treks. Lo, your demeanour is so warm and friendly, I feel like I've known you for years. Can't say enough. Wish you all the very best and hope we meet again before too long.

Hi Lo, Jamie, and all your staff and volunteers,

Thank you so much for making me so welcome at Dunton Stables. I really enjoyed myself and feel that the experience has helped me to regain some of my confidence in riding. The accommodation was first class, the room and en-suite have been wonderfully furnished, and it was lovely to wake up and look out of my window straight onto the yard. I was able to watch what the horses got up to when no-one was around. The horses were lovely, and although I felt very nervous to begin with, they were patient and forgiving, and this really help me to gain confidence in them. I found the first trek to Sutton Park daunting to begin with, due to the wide open spaces, and dogs, runners and cyclists. As this was a long trek I was able to become more relaxed and begin to enjoy the experience. Your outrider was very patient with me, and adapted the trek to suit my needs. Sutton Park itself was stunning, with such a wide variety of landscape. I was particularly lovely to see the wild ponies. I had lessons from two instructors during my stay, each had very different styles of teaching, but I feel that I learnt a lot from them both. It was good to be able to have the flexibility of doing more lessons instead of going to the spa. The spa idea was fine by the way, and I probably would have gone if I had come to you as part of a group. I felt much more confident on the trek to the Water Park on the second day, and really enjoyed it. This was my first visit to the region, the countryside is lovely. The food was fine, with the atmosphere at the Dog and Doublet being exceptionally friendly. You asked me Lorraine, to give feedback about what you could improve or do differently. I'm finding it difficult to think of anything, as the weekend suited my needs perfectly. Maybe having the itinery written down, with approximate times for lessons, treks, and going out to eat would have been good, but that's because I have a bad memory! I can't finish without mentioning your fabulous volunteers. It was wonderful to meet such enthusiastic, polite, happy young people who were comfortable talking to anyone, when young people in general often get such a bad press. They are a credit to Dunton Stables and themselves, so please say well done to them from me. Thank you once again, and please use any of the feedback on you website if you want to.

Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone at Dunton Stables who helped make our holiday the best one ever! Lo & Jamie made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone on the yard were friendly & helpful (and didn't laugh too much at my rusty riding skills)! The horses were amazing...all had unique personalities and were a joy to ride on treks or in the school. We were able to brush the horses and give them some one-to-one attention, which was lovely. Anyone thinking about going on a riding holiday should definitely come along. We WILL be coming back! Mel x
